Areola restoration and reconstruction have really become assumable today. Mastectomy procedures, breast surgery and reconstruction after a radical Mastectomy or even a lumpectomy can leave scars, divots, and an empty pocket without an areola or nipple. After enough time for healing and your Surgeons approval the best thing is to get you back to looking yourself again. This is where the areola and nipple can be artistically and permanently put back on with Dermal Pigment Implantation (a form of medical tattooing designed for the most delicate areas of skin.) By now most of you have heard about the 3-D realistic looking areolas. If not, please give me a call and I will give you all the information and resources you need to educate yourself before making a decision.
Also most Insurance companies will typically pay for this procedure as part of your Mastectomy reconstruction process. Please feel free to give me a call if you are considering new beautiful areola's . I will be glad to answer any questions you might have. Teri
Permanent makeup for the Eyebrows, Eyeliner, Areola and Lips, also known as Micropigmentation, Dermagraphics, Cosmetic Tattooing, Permanent Cosmetics and Trans-dermal Pigment Implantation. These are all tattooing on the skin and are considered permanent but they can gradually fade over the years. these pigments are hypo-allergenic, natural iron-oxide, colored pigments which are implanted into the very first layers of the skin. The big difference with a traditional body tattoo is that they use an Ink product and can implant much deeper then we would on the face or breast area. Our pigments can be mixed to match an exact color expectation ie: eyebrow pencil, favorite lip color, etc.
